It’s also the plane you’d book to guarantee a proper leg rest at every premium economy seat – something not all of Cathay Pacific’s other aircraft provide – and with that in mind, Australian Business Traveller took the A350 for a spin on a return trip between Brisbane and Hong Kong to bring you this review.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) launched on Tuesday a blockchain-based digital wallet that converts airmiles into digital currency. The technology was developed in partnership with Microsoft and KPMG Digital Village.

KrisPay, as the new wallet is called, was created by KrisFlyer, the subsidiary that runs SIA’s loyalty program. For the beginning, 18 merchants, including restaurants, shops, beauty services, and fuel stations, will accept KrisPay miles in exchange for products and services. In the future, more merchants will be added.

The move makes good on an SIA announcement in February that it wanted to integrate blockchain with its KrisFlyer loyalty program.
